Do not wait for a website reply about a chemical injury. Open the NHS advice and the safety data sheet for the exact product.
Get the right help
- NHS: acid and chemical burns gives immediate first-aid and emergency instructions, including calling 999 for chemical burns.
- NHS: eye injuries says to get medical help for chemicals in an eye and lists when to go to A&E or call 999.
- NHS 111 online directs people in England who need urgent medical help. Its homepage links to services in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
- The resin maker's official SDS library provides product-specific first-aid measures. Read section 4 for your actual product, not another resin with a similar name.

Have the product information ready
Keep the container label and SDS available to the medical service. Include the washing liquid if that was involved. Say which substance contacted the person and whether it reached skin, eyes or the mouth. Do not delay getting help to search for paperwork.
Before returning to the bench
Resolve the cause of contact and follow medical advice. Revisit the handling route, contaminated tools and protective-equipment selection. Do not use repeated contact as a way to judge whether a resin agrees with your skin.
For prevention planning rather than urgent treatment, see the safety page. This site gives general information and source links, not medical advice.
